SKIS COMMENCAL CLASH PURPLE

The CLASH is our backcountry ski, and we developed it with the firm intention of making the mountain a playground with no limits. Fat but not too fat, it’s made for big mountain turns as well as cutting through choppy, uneven snow. 

With the new structure and poplar core, this ski is agile and reactive, and provides more hold under increased pressure. The fibre veneers that coat the core provide dynamism at the end a turn, and the relaunch effect is noticeable, even beyond what can generally be expected from a BC ski. This ski gives a lot, solid over jumps yet with plenty of pop, it has a bit more forgiveness at the tail for smooth landings. Based on a sandwich construction concept with straight sidewalls, the CLASH provides an incredibly sturdy feeling of security on big mountain lines. As far as the rockers are concerned, we chose long and progressive to maintain stability at the tip and to float in the powder or on heavy wet snow with no issues. 

This CLASH is an incredible toy, and in line with our vision of what a ski should be. It is undoubtedly the ski in the range that most represents who we are.
