With the evolution of enduro in recent years, the increasingly fast and precise riders have pushed manufacturers to go one step further and offer more downhill oriented enduro components.
When developing this stem BURGTEC relied on the performance of the DIRECT MOUNT MK3 used in DH and merged the technical characteristics of the old MK2. This product has been designed so that riders can push their limits even further. This means more stiffness, plus the combination of a forged and then machined part, for greater solidity and durability over time.
The increased clamping surface on the steerer increases the overall stiffness to bring this stem as close to that used in downhill.
CNC machining plus anodizing gives a remarkable finish, living up to the reputation that the British brand forges season after season in DH, freeride and enduro.
