    HIGHLIGHTS

Within the world of enduro, the META AM V4 is probably the best platform on the market. Lots of positive press returns and awards (German, American, English, Spanish, French & more) confirm our confidence in this. You cannot ask for more recognition. It’s a universal bike! Designed for enduro, for sure it’s just as comfortable in the bike park as in trail mode.

So, what is this new model we call RIDE? It's limited edition in a delightful new color, orange this time, to stand out from all the rest. On the component-side, it has everything that relates to going for a RIDE as we really want it, an excellent frame and suspension combo. This explains our choice of the RockShox Pike RC paired with the RT3 shock, which is quality assured. You will also find this same suspension setup on the META AM ESSENTIAL V4 model that is slightly higher grade than the RIDE.

We have stuck with 1by transmission just because it's so simple and the RIDE has tubeless ready wheels and RIDE ALPHA components that are definitely well reliable.

If you wish to add a telescopic seat post, it’s possible to buy it on our web store, at the same time as you purchase the bike or at a later date.

"Add a slack 66 degree head angle and even when we really overstepped the limit, the META never gave up gripping and saving us from our own stupidity."
"In short, everything you need to max out the potential of this superb great-value bike every time you’re lucky enough to launch it down the trails."

    – "What Mountain Bike"

"An enduro race-ready winner on downhill and fast sections which also surprised everyone when the slope was reversed …"

    – "Vélo Vert"

"The COMMENCAL holds its trajectory perfectly, precisely, but without being too stiff."
"Behind its rowdy exterior, the COMMENCAL is easy to handle."

    – "Vélo Vert"

"Everything is comfortable between your hands. You feel immediately at ease with such a cockpit."

    – "Vélo Vert"

"In red, purple, black or yellow the META V4 will find a way to your heart through many component packages and will leave a space in your wallet from prices that are every bit as good to be true."
"Its well guarded under top-tube mounted shock keeps mud at bay and the source of such a strong and lively ride characteristic which uses every single millimetre of what it has available."

    – Read more on "Dirt"

"The back of the bike is just asking to be propelled with big pedal stokes."
"Tailor-made for enduro, the COMMENCAL has a long top tube, which meets current standards, coupled with a mini-stem and wide handlebars, which gives super precision during the slightest turn."

    – "Bike Magazine"

"This bike also excels on steep and tight switchbacks, without fault."
"It's as if the ground has been cleared, the bike demands very little from the rider, technically and physically. It is super nice, easy and forgiving."

    – "Big Bike"

"Get ready to collect the KOMs on the descents, as the META AM V4’s line precision is unrivalled. No matter how rough the trail gets, the bike stays on track and keeps confidence high with its high stack and long frame."

    – "Enduro MTB"

"The riding position is so good, you remain in control of the bike at all times."
"There are no external cables, which gives the bike a very neat and clean look."

    – Read more "MTB Mag"

"It demands a fast riding style so you end up almost flying over obstacles."
"Uphill sections were no longer a problem, they even become fun."

    – Read more on "Dirt.de"

"The COMMENCAL META AM V4 is a bike which you can ride straight ‘out-of-the-box’. The configuration makes perfect sense and the chosen components integrate graciously into the overall appearance of the bike.”

    – Read more on "Dirt.de”

"The META has an unerring ability to put the front wheel exactly where you want it, however rough the trail or tight the turn.”

"This creates a greed for speed that whoever is riding it just couldn't refuse, and all our testers praised its outstanding blend of playfulness and poise.”

    – "What Mountainbike”

"Drops, jumps, scree and steeps, larger and longer than I was comfortable with became smaller, smoother and easier to handle.”

    – "Singletracks”

"The cockpit bits from COMMENCAL’s in-house brand was the biggest surprise of the component check. The 50mm stem and 780mm bar pairing hit a sweet spot for me and I see no reason to replace them.”

    – "Singletracks”

"The COMMENCAL can be cornered with a heavy hand like a super slack enduro racer, set up to dig in, spray rocks and hold a line regardless of what may be in its way. Or, it can skate around turns, weaving around the ugly bits and drifting in short, controlled spurts.”

    – Read more on "Pinkbike”

"Heading straight into a man-made trail I instantly felt at ease, threading the bike through the turns, slamming the berms and trying not to slam the jumps.”

    – Read more on "IMB”

"The rear end was forgiving enough in the early stages of the travel that it tracks well, yet firm in the mid-stroke so it could still be playful.”

"Lengthy road climbs are tolerable and technical climbs are aided by the active suspension. When sprinting, the bike was supportive enough that it didn’t sap energy, yet forgiving enough to allow us to charge through rough sections.”

    – Read more on "Vital”

"The combination of a long wheelbase (1193 mm) and effective suspension allows the bike to ride smoothly and it brings a great deal of confidence.”

"Thanks to the relatively high front end, the rider constantly feels in control even on the steepest of descents and without the front end feeling less stable on flatter terrain.”

    – Read more on "EnduroMTB”

"The centred position ensures a weight distribution which enables the ability to overcome obstacles with agility and with the feeling that one is on a much lighter bike.”

"COMMENCAL did a great job and for downhill it continues to be a missile.”

    – Read more on "MTB Pro”

"From the first glance we can see that the META continues to be resistant, tough and strong.”
